Sustainable Development Solutions Network Switzerland (SDSN Switzerland) has assembled a scientific panel of more than 30 scientists from leading institutions who are developing proposed solutions for a transformation towards a sustainable food system in Switzerland. The results of the scientific panel are summarized in a white paper that identifies synergies and conflicting goals. Additionally, the experts’ scientific contributions will be incorporated into the dialogues on Switzerland’s food future.
The process is accompanied by political economist and transformation researcher Dr. Lukas Fesenfeld of the Oeschger Center for Climate Research at the University of Bern and lecturers at ETH Zurich. He is responsible for synthesizing the inputs as well as writing them.

SDSN Switzerland and its partners are conducting a dialogue process on the future of nutrition in Switzerland with a Citizens’ Council for Nutrition Policy. The approach is based on OECD recommendations: Citizens’ Councils help to engage the population in dialogue and to find socially supported solutions to complex problems.
