SDG Impact Assessment – How sustainable is your organization?
The SDG Impact Assessment Tool is a free online application for research and educational institutions, businesses, entrepreneurs, civil society organizations and public institutions that want to conduct a self-assessment of their effects on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The tool can be used by anyone to help easily identify relevant sustainability perspectives regarding their work. It does this by assessing impacts on each of the 17 SDGs as either being ‘directly positive’, ‘indirectly positive’, ‘no impact’, ‘indirectly negative’, ‘directly negative’ or ‘more information needed’.
To access the web tool, follow the link below to the SDG Impact Assessment Tool and create a user account. You can also download the SDG Impact Assessment Tool Guide 1.0, which contains recommendations and guidance for specific user scenarios in the areas of education, research, innovation and business, as well as strategic planning and decision-making.
The SDG Impact Assessment Tool was developed by SDSN Northern Europe, the Gothenburg Centre for Sustainable Development at Chalmers University of Technology and the University of Gothenburg.
